# Traces

## Overview

**Traces** in oleander join OpenTelemetry spans from your orchestrator, transforms, and query engines into one timeline per run. See where time is spent, where retries happen, and where shuffles or skew dominate.

Emit OTel traces from Airflow, dbt, and Spark to oleander's ingestion endpoint. Configuration details are documented as each integration matures.
